  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across all pharmacy activities, including prescription validation, dispensing, and patient communication.
  • Oversee clinical governance frameworks, ensuring risk management, quality assurance, and incident reporting meet internal and regulatory expectations.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), ensuring all notifications and registrations are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain oversight of controlled drug management, ensuring appropriate recording, storage, and destruction procedures are in place.
  • Ensure all SOPs and governance processes are regularly reviewed and compliant with current legislation.
  • Lead and mentor the clinical pharmacy team - supporting ongoing training, competency assessment, and professional development.
  • Champion patient-centred care and continuous improvement across all pharmacy and clinical operations.
  • Support business growth by advising on safe implementation of new products, services, or treatment models.
  • Oversee audit and inspection readiness activities, ensuring regulatory compliance at all times.

About you (Who you are)

You’re a detail-oriented, forward-thinking pharmacist with a passion for governance, leadership, operational excellence and patient safety. You combine deep regulatory knowledge with strong people and operational management skills.

You’re comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can balance clinical rigour with pragmatic decision-making.

You bring credibility as a senior pharmacist who can engage confidently with regulators, clinicians, and executives alike - ensuring our pharmacy operates safely, ethically, and efficiently.

Skills and experience
