About Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus (or "Euc" for short) is an Australian-founded digital healthcare company on a mission to solve some of the world’s biggest healthcare challenges – think fertility treatments and tackling chronic conditions like weight loss, diabetes, and mental health. Founded in 2019, Euc has already helped over 500,000 patients globally by combining technology, design, and operational excellence to deliver the best clinical support whenever and wherever they need it.
Since launching, we’ve grown fast to support millions of patients. In 2024 alone…
- Globally, we grew revenue by >120% YoY, while reducing cash burned by 90% YoY. We grew our valuation to >$500M USD with over $100M USD raised from global investors such as BOND, NewView, Blackbird and Airtree - early backers of companies like Canva, Stripe and AirBnb.
- Grew from 5,000 to ~40,000 patients in the UK alone, and received selective NICE endorsement to provide service to the NHS
- Tailored our offering to over 5,000 patients in Germany and Japan, with a goal to extend our patient base to over 30,000 patients across both markets in 2025
Our goal for the next 3 years:
- We aim to be supporting 1 million patients globally - live better for longer - by launching into new conditions, demographics and geographies as we move towards our vision of creating a preventative healthcare ecosystem.
The Opportunity
As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Eucalyptus, you will play a crucial role in leveling up our analytics capabilities and empowering self-serve insights across the company. Your mission will be to unlock high-leverage self-serve analytics through a scalable, well-governed Tableau ecosystem – reducing ad hoc work, increasing data trust, and enabling faster decision-making across teams.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Analytics Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to reorganize and enhance our BI dashboards, define and report on core metrics, and build a culture of data-driven decision making. It’s a unique opportunity to take a well-funded startup’s analytics infrastructure to the next level – from cleaning up legacy reports to designing new AI-driven analytics products – all while ensuring our team has reliable, decision-grade data at their fingertips. If you love transforming data chaos into clarity and enabling others to make better decisions, this role is made for you.
Responsibilities
- Overhaul and manage our BI dashboards: Own the migration and reorganization of Tableau dashboards and Metabase charts, including cleaning up existing content and implementing consistent folder structures and templates for scalability
- Build source-of-truth reports: Create and maintain core metric reference dashboards that serve as the single source of truth for key company health metrics and KPIs
- Establish data governance: Implement naming conventions, tagging, and metadata documentation within our BI tools to improve discoverability and trust in data assets
- Enable self-serve analytics: Act as a support partner for business teams as they adopt the new self-service analytics structure – providing training, onboarding materials, and hands-on help so teams can answer their own questions with data
- Develop decision-grade insights: Partner with product, growth, and operations teams to design and build insightful dashboards that inform strategic decisions (e.g. experiment results, funnel cohort analyses, operational performance)
- Monitor usage and optimize: Own analytics on analytics – track who is using which reports in Tableau/Metabase, analyze usage patterns, and identify opportunities to improve or deprecate dashboards for efficiency
- Drive innovation: Once foundational work is stable, contribute to advanced data projects – potentially including AI-driven analytics products and other data experiments to keep Euc at the cutting edge
Who You Are
- Experience: You have 5–8 years of experience as a BI analyst with excellent capability on building & maintaining dashboards, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment. Also, you’ve spent time translating data into insights that drive business decisions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field – or equivalent practical experience in data analytics
- Technical skills: Hands-on experience with modern BI/reporting tools is a must – especially Tableau and Metabase (bonus points if you can show us your Tableau portfolio) & proficiency in SQL for data querying
- Analytical mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful insights. You can slice and dice data to tell a story and identify trends, patterns, or anomalies.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills – you can explain data insights and technical concepts in simple terms to business stakeholders, bridging the gap between data and decision-makers
- Location & Schedule: Based in the Philippines (to join our growing Euc team in Manila) and willing to work hours that align closely with Australian business hours for smooth remote collaboration (experience working with international teams or in a remote setting is a plus!)
Why You’ll Thrive Here
- Incredibly passionate team: You’ll be joining a team of smart, driven individuals. Our talent bar is high and our work ethic is strong – you’ll stretch yourself every day working alongside people who care deeply about our patients and our mission. Expect autonomy to tackle interesting problems with support from a team that’s got your back.
- We invest in our people: From day one, you’ll have access to an annual professional development budget (plus extra leave credits for training) and a mentor/buddy system to help you level up. We provide regular feedback, performance reviews, and growth opportunities – your career development is our priority.
- Fast-paced & innovative culture: We move at incredible speed and build in the open. You’ll work with teammates who share their work freely, learn and iterate quickly, and aren’t afraid to step outside their comfort zone. We love experimentation and fast learning – it’s how we deliver high-quality outcomes faster than our competitors.
